Lockdowns, Homeoffice und <strong>mehr Zeit zu Hause<\/strong> machten die Anschaffung scheinbar einfach. Doch aktuelle Studien aus Gro\u00dfbritannien und der Schweiz zeigen: Die Realit\u00e4t sieht oft anders aus.<\/p><p>Die Hundehaltung bringt nicht nur Freude, Struktur und emotionale N\u00e4he, sondern auch intensive Betreuung, Training und t\u00e4gliche Pflichten. Viele <strong>untersch\u00e4tzten den Aufwand<\/strong> und f\u00fchlten sich schnell \u00fcberfordert \u2013 insbesondere nach der R\u00fcckkehr zum normalen Alltag mit Arbeit und Terminen.<\/p><h2>Studien zeigen: Frauen \u00fcbernehmen Hauptverantwortung<\/h2><p>Eine Studie aus der Schweiz macht deutlich: In der gro\u00dfen Mehrheit der F\u00e4lle sind es Frauen, die sich haupts\u00e4chlich um das neue Familienmitglied k\u00fcmmern. 96\u202f% der befragten <strong>Frauen<\/strong> gaben an, den Gro\u00dfteil der Hundepflege zu \u00fcbernehmen \u2013 von Gassi gehen \u00fcber Tierarzttermine bis zur Erziehung.<\/p><p>Diese zus\u00e4tzliche Verantwortung f\u00fchrt h\u00e4ufig zu <strong>emotionaler Ersch\u00f6pfung<\/strong>, insbesondere wenn sie neben Beruf, Haushalt und Kindererziehung gestemmt wird. Der sogenannte \u201eMental Load\u201c steigt \u2013 viele Frauen f\u00fchlen sich mit der Situation alleingelassen.<\/p><h2>Was zuk\u00fcnftige Hundebesitzer wissen sollten<\/h2><p>Die Studien geben klare Hinweise: Eine <strong>realistische Einsch\u00e4tzung des Zeit- und Pflegeaufwands<\/strong> ist entscheidend, bevor ein Hund einzieht. Familien sollten Aufgaben klar aufteilen und im Vorfeld \u00fcberlegen, wer sich wann und wie k\u00fcmmert.<\/p><p>Ein Hund kann eine gro\u00dfe Bereicherung sein \u2013 aber nur dann, wenn alle
